It’s here guys!! 400 Followers Writing Challenge!

Thank you to all of my followers, I never thought I’d get past 100 followers, let alone have 400! This is for anyone who would like to participate! This writing challenge consists of two categories: Character and Prompt. 

For the character, you can choose whomever you would like from the following fandoms: Supernatural, The Originals, Marvel Comics/Cinematic Universe, DC Comics/Movie versions, Young Justice, X-Men, Hawaii Five-0, Macgyver, NCIS (original, LA, and NOLA), Chicago Med, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, and Criminal Minds. There are (probably) hundreds if not thousands of characters to choose from. 

For the prompt, you can choose the category: angst, smut, joyful, depressed, calm, crack, fluff, etc. You will tell me what kind of prompt you would like and I will give you a sentence starter/line to either start the fic or be put in somewhere in the fic you write. (Example: you choose angst, I give you the sentence starter- I can’t talk to you anymore. Goodbye.)

I will read every fic that gets sent to me and I’ll make an effort to comment on what I like from it. If I do not do exactly that within 24-48 hours, send me a message with the link to your fic and I will get right on it!! I need all fics by September 1st, 2019, 10 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Alright, time for some rules. 

- You can request as many characters and prompts as you would like, but only in twos. Say you want six characters and their respective prompts, you request two at first, write those fics and then ask for more.

- The reason for the previous rule is that I want to get all of the fics you request. I don’t want ten people telling me they want five characters each then only giving me one or two fics by the end of the challenge!

- You can make the fic as long as you want it. My only request is that if it is over 400 words (see what I did there?) then you need to add a ‘keep reading’ tab.

- You can do any pairings you would like within the work. You are also entitled to cross categories, but I won’t be giving you a second prompt for it (i.e. You asked for an angst prompt and I gave you one but you add in an angry smut scene because you felt like it).

- You need to tag me both in the tags and at the beginning or end of the work so that I get the notification for it! (You can also use Katie’s 400 Followers Challenge).

- Make sure to go to THIS DOCUMENT to put the information about you and your work so that I can put it all in a masterlist when the time is up. If the fic is not in this document (unless special circumstances are met), you will not be added into the masterlist.

- For your character and prompt, send me an ASK (no anons please). No private messages please, I won’t give you the prompt and character through PM.

 - You are allowed TWO do overs for the prompts if you do not like the one I give you. After two, you are stuck with the one you got. 

- The day these fics are due is SEPTEMBER 1st, 2019. You can start your fic as soon as you get the prompt back from me! All fics are due to me by 10 PM Eastern Standard Time.

- Make sure to put proper warnings on your fics please!
